About

Nadia Mytnik-Frantova studied at The Moscow State University of Printing Arts (Russia) where she earned a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. Since graduating, she has worked as a book illustrator, a graphic designer, a painter, and a puppet maker taking part in several domestic and international exhibitions. Her fascination with film and animation led her to The Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema and to the Film Animation program (Concordia University, Montreal, Canada) which she successfully finished at 2011. Her short mixed-media movies were screened in several film festivals. Her experimental animated documentary “Ciurlionis” became a part of  «Cultures croisées/Cultural Crossroads» RCI Vision de Radio-Canada International project. Currently,  she works as a graphic artist,  illustrator,  painter and an art teacher.
